17 years! 17 bands! 7/17 in the year 2024XX Bit Gen Gamer Fest is BACK as planet Earth‘s largest one-day video game music festival. Bit Gen 17 returns to the historic Ottobar in Baltimore, Maryland, for an earth-shattering day-long celebration of video game music maddess. Bit Gen 17 will feature nerdcore hip-hop, Nintendocore, cybergrind, and an all-star lineup of video game music tribute masters from the last 30 years of this vibrant and burgeoning music scene that just won't run out of lives.

Bit Gen Gamer Fest has its finger on the pulse of the video game music subculture, bringing you the very best in pixelated power. With two stages and a “ping-pong-style” alternating schedule, the music never stops. Enjoy video game-inspired specialty cocktails and a curated selection of free-play arcade and console games. Come and feed the nostalgia goblin that lives inside your skull until it explodes with nourishment. Food trucks will be available for those who need more than chiptunes, VGM, drinks, great vibes, and video games to sustain themselves.

Unfiltered nerd culture and bit crushed tunes will be on full blast, making this a year not to be missed as Bit Gamer Fest cements itself as the world’s, nay, the galaxy's largest, most badass, and unrelenting video game music culture event. Even aliens have nothing on us. This is Bit Gen 17—eat some power-ups, put on a Mega Buster, and come hang out while we get blasted by bits, bloops, and bops and the vast, diverse, and amazing musical world of the video game music genre.
